I know i seems a bit quiet here. But mostly because I'm lazy updating the news section - I'm very sorry. But on the other hand the portfolio is always up to date and comes in a new handy layout. First sign of life in 2010
The first month of 2010 is already over and there are some really good things to come! A quick overview may help:

Fusion of Souls: The first parts of the complete albumartwork are up! The band is still recording some vocals and again my friend Anton Hendel is the man behind the mixer. Looking forward to hear the album! See the artwork here!

Stehcafe: I know those guys for a long time now but never had the opportunity to create an albumartwork for them. But good things come to those who wait and I'm totally proud about the artwork for their upcoming EP "Inspired by Memories"! This way to see the artwork!

Umbrellas can't make you fly: This is a very special project to me, being a bandmember myself. I did a first concept for a possible artwork I'd like to present you. But sadly it might take some time for the record to be released - so I couldn't wait to show it to you! See it here!

There is still a lot I can show you in the near future and for some of my bands there are quite big steps ahead I'm totally happy for. But for now have fun with all the new stuff!

Point of Origin
This will be the last post for 2009. It has been a really good year for us with some amazing projects and we're totally satisfied how everything turned out. As a small gift we can now show you the album artwork for the upcoming debut album of Downspirit. It was a great experience working with Cede Dupont (known as the guitar player of Symphorce or former Freedom Call) and we can't wait to show you the rest of the package! Don't miss the first samples of the album on their Myspace page.

Heavy Metal High Five
In the meantime I finished the new Nailgun logotype and coverartwork (still working on the rest) and most of the Downspirit stuff and started to work on the new Fusion of Souls artwork. Quite a good year I think!

Break the Silence
I'm totally busy right now. Some really cool projects still in work, I can promise there'll be still a bunch of hot artworks this year! Just finished the coverartwork for Downspirit's debut album (which will be released next year) and the upcoming albumartwork for Tobias Conzelmann - you can have a glimpse at his Myspace site too. Two totally different styles - but that's what makes this business so exciting and fun.
Beyond that I'm happy to say that Fusion of Souls just started to record their new album and soon we'll do the same with the graphics.

Clap your Hands twice
I had an awesome photoshooting with the guys of Clap your Hands twice for their upcoming "Europa Rundfahrt" - commonly known as tour. What's going on?
It was a bit calm in the last time - but just here on the blog. I was totally busy working on my bachelorthesis that is now done and already printed. I hope to get some pictures up soon. If you missed the new updates in the last time - here is a quick overview:

It's getting steamy and wild in the new Get into Gear artwork I did for their posters and Myspace layout. You can have a glimpse here.

City of Angels
Been really inspired by some great Matte Paintings in the last time (the movie Max Payne was bad, but had a really cool skyline scene in it) and so I wanted to do a new personal artwork since quite a long time. After crashing and burning down some skylines in a few recent artworks, I wanted to do something more detailed and closer to the buildings - right in the middle of the city. I called it City of Angels and once again it's quite a dark one. Don't miss the fullsized version.
